Joint Venture Architect with another practice for a 20 storey serviced apartment
building of 139 apartments. Apartments range from Studio size up to two large
top quality apartments on the top floor. The apartments are managed by an hotel
operator and trades as the 4 star Bolton Hotel. The public spaces include a
reception floor including vehicle drive through, restaurant and conference
centre, 2 lane lap pool, spa, sauna & gymnasium. Basement car parking is accessed by sissor lift and all other parking is catered for by one of the first NZ uses of a car stacker carousel. These innovative parking solutions were necessary to achieve a viable project on a very compact Wellington site.
