This Centreplace, Hamilton store is the 4th since a totally new fitout direction was researched, designed & refined in 2004. This new fitout follows detailed research on Meccano’s customer base, product lines, trends in retailing, merchandising requirements together with forecasts of upcoming changes or trends. This new fitout design followed on from 9 previous evolutionary designs based on the chains early fitout theme. This latest design has helped to significantly improve on natural increases on business turnover, as measured before & after the refit of this the very first Meccano store.
